It’s been over 6 months since I last posted. Bebe has grown a lot. A LOT.

How can I even summarize at this point? Try, try, try:

  • She walks (she runs)
  • She wears a ponytail
  • She eats (and eats)
  • She pets the dogs
  • She dances
  • She talks (well, some)
  • She has teeth we brush
  • She has nails we cut
  • She holds my hand
  • She has stinky feet

Man, I love this girl.

I love fashion, but I usually don’t know what I’m doing. I’m great with shoes, awful with accessories, and mediocre with everything else. For example, I really do own nice handbags, but I honestly use a backpack 6 out of 7 days of the week. Whether it’s a diaper bag or laptop bag, it’s typically my bag of choice.

I wear the same jewelry every day. I live in jeans. My baby is in a onesie plus leggings 99% of the time.

In other words, these outfits took so much effort (too much effort). Now I remember why blogging is hard.

But tying a jacket around my daughter’s waist makes it way worth it. WAY.

I almost bought a pleather jacket for my baby today. I was alone at Target, which is never a good idea, and I held the tiny jacket in my hand. I thought to myself, “This is stupid. It’s 94 degrees outside, and my 7.5-month old does not need zipper pockets.”

So, I put the sweet BABY LEATHER JACKET back on the rack. For today. I will be back.
